All about my cat (Shakespearean Sonnet)

This is a poem about my old cat
he sleeps all day but doesn't get fat.
He likes to hang from my drapes with his claws
while all night he scampers around on his paws.

Under his chin, he likes me to scratch
after he runs, a mouse he does catch.
He rolls on his back  so I can rub his belly
but afterwards, he can get a little smelly!

Late into the deep dark night
sometimes other cats he does fight.
When morning comes he arrives at the door
and then he limps across the cold, hard floor.

Through all the years he's been my good friend.
But sadly, he's come to an unfortunate end!

Egypt (Free verse #5)

In Egypt there are many things,
like gods, and crypts, and gold.
One day I'll go there,
and look at their old scrolls.

Tech (Free verse #4)

Tech is so advanced.
soon it would be self aware,
And able to use it's own mind.

Darkness is on one side,
light on the other.
They never combine.

In Canada there are snowballs,
there is also fun and games.
But my personal favourite,
is the freedom and peace we have.

Popcorn (Quatrain #4)

I like to watch star wars when I eat popcorn,
the crunch is louder than a car horn.
It is as yummy as candy,
and I eat it with my right handy.

Beaches & Seas (Quatrain #3)

On the golden brown shore of seas,
to go into blue oasis, a child says "please"?
And knowing what his parents say,
he didn't go into the shining spray.

Computers (Quatrain #2)

Computers have anything you need,
when on, you can even read.
Already it's on our phone,
and all around our home!

High School (Quatrain #1)

I can't wait for high school.
The older students think we're tools.
I wonder who will be the fool,
when they find out grade nines rule.

in the ways of old
we used tools to get our gold
now we blow stuff up

Why I called my blog "Everything Random"

Hello, my name's Blair and I named my blog " Everything Random" because when I was thinking what to call my blog. I had a lot of different ideas, I want to put a little bit of everything into my blog. Some of the things I want to put into my blog are things about me, things about people I know, something cute, something funny. I didn't know what to call the blog and I found out that I could only have one topic. I suddenly realised that all those things were random, so since it was random I called it "Everything Random".
